Starting New Analyses

Analyses can be started by creating a new one from scratch or by cloning an existing one.

Start a New Analysis from Scratch

Required Fields

Type

For example: Adhoc or Planned

Task

The analysis task helps describe the purpose of the analysis, for example, FDA Review or Publication

Name

A short name to describe the analysis

Specification

Explain everything or keep it short. It’s up to you. Note you can attach documents (e.g. a SAP) after the analysis is created.

Study

Select the data source for the analysis. Usually this is one or more studies, but you can also track and select non-study data sources as well.

Meta Study Name

If there is more than one study (data source) selected above then you are required to make a short name describing the set.

Estimated Due Date

Enter the target date for completing all the TLFs to send to Regulatory for review.

Start a New Analysis by Cloning

  1. Navigate to an existing Analysis

  2. Click the Clone button

  3. Enter a new Name

  4. Enter an Estimated Due Date (the date all TLFs are expected to be completed and sent to Regulatory for review)
