Finding and Filtering TFLs

The TFL Index lists the TFLs and TFL metadata defined for a given Analysis. A link to the TFL Index page is located in the upper right corner of the Analysis Detail page.

TFL Index

The TFL Index page displays all the TFLs defined for the analysis, their status, current version, current review period status, etc.

Filtering TFLs

There are 3 different tools for filtering the TFL Index.

  1. Using the Status filter
  2. Using the Type to filter input box
  3. Using the Starring tool

The filtering tools can be used in combination with each other. For example you can first filter the TFL Index by the Programming status and then apply a text filter to further narrow the list!

Using the Status filter

  1. From the TFL Index page, click the Status button to expand the status filter options.
  2. Click the desired status you want to filter on.
  3. The TFL Index will narrow the list to the status you selected.
  4. Note: this filter is ‘sticky’, meaning you can apply a filter and any subsequent bulk actions will honor the filter!

Using the Type to filter input box

From the TFL Index page use the Type to filter input box to narrow the TFL list by values you see displayed in the table.

If you have any space characters in the text you want to filter on, enclose them in double quotes. For example: “Arm A”, or “Bill Frisell”

The Type to filter input box will search the following that appear in the TFL Index:

TFL Type, TFL Class, TFL Name, Program Name, Titles, Assignments

Using the Starring mechanism

The Starring tool lets users create their own custom TFL list. The ‘Starred’ list remains in effect until the user changes them, even if the user logs out and back in.

Click the Star icon in the row for the TFL you wish to add to your custom list. Or, filter the list using either or both of the 2 ways above and then click Star All

To filter just on your Starred TFLs, clack the Show Starred Only link. Click the Show All link to undo the filter by just starred TFLs.
