Adding Datasets

Datasets can be added to an analysis in bulk by adding them from predefined templates, by cloning (copying) existing Datasets, or by adding one at a time.

Add Datasets from Templates

1. Navigate to an existing analysis.
2. Click the Datasets link in the upper right corner of the Analysis Details page.
3. Expand the Bulk Options menu and click Add from Template and the bulk add form will open.
4. Click in the Datasets Template drop down menu and select 1 or more template libraries.
5. Click Submit.

Add Dataset by cloning an existing one

1. Navigate to an existing analysis.
2. Click the Datasets link in the upper right corner of the Analysis Details page, the Dataset Index page will open.
3. Click the Details button for the dataset you want to clone, the Dataset Details page will open.
4. Click the Clone button and the Clone Dataset form will open.
5. Enter the new name and description.
6. Click Submit.

Add Datasets one at a time

1. Navigate to an existing analysis.
2. Click the Datasets link in the upper right corner of the Analysis Details page.
3. Click the Add button.
4. Select the type and class and enter a name and description.
5. Click Submit.

Required Fields

Type

For example: SDTM, ADaM, or Custom

Class

For example: Basic Data Structure, Subject Level

Name

The short name of the Dataset (e.g. ae)

Description

The long name of the Dataset (e.g. Adverse Events)
